Our beautiful matching numbers and colours 1956 Austin-Healey 100M BN2 Factory Le Mans is one of the rare examples originally delivered in Europe. A total of only 66 of these cars were made in Europe. It is an Original Belgian car in the beautiful and rare Healey blue and one of only 192 that left the factory in a single colour.

What makes the car even more unique is that it has been subjected to meticulous scrutiny by Bill Meade (Austin-Healey Registry founder) to establish its provenance and originality. Evidence had to be provided from pre-restoration photos, the body number in the edge of the bonnet, the body number on the back of the three front cockpit surrounds, the body number on the trunk lid support, copies of registrations and full ownership history to confirm that this is a "Factory" 100M. Our Austin-Healey 100M passed with flying colours, resulting in a car that is documented to perfection and was rewarded with a Gold British Motor Industry Heritage Thrust certificate, a 2021 100M Lemans registry certificate, Fiva Identity card and an exceptionally comprehensive folder full of history and restoration documents meticulously maintained by the previous owners.

She underwent a complete body-off restoration and is therefore in absolute top condition, the original colour "Healey-Blue" ensuring that the unique lines of this English classic are shown off perfectly. The interior is also first-class, the bucket seats and door mouldings were renewed to the original specifications and form a stylish combination with the paint colour. The fully matching 2.6-litre 4-cylinder engine, which delivers more power thanks to the Le Mans spec, including a sporty camshaft with higher cams, larger carburettors, an anti-roll bar, cold airbox with the matching 100M/plate, stronger valve springs and two 1 ¾-inch carburettors, was overhauled and starts and runs very smoothly. The 4-speed manual gearbox with electric overdrive shifts smoothly in every gear and is a pleasure to drive, disc brakes were also added at the front and the suspension was upgraded with modern dampers to ensure that this one not only looks great but also drives tremendously pleasant.

So it goes without saying that with this car there are no additional costs to be foreseen and so it is pure enjoyment and more than that, due to its very interesting year and corresponding age coefficient, it is the ideal car par excellence for participating in just about any rally. The upgrades made to make the car suitable for rallying, such as seatbelts, smaller steering wheel and navigation equipment, have been professionally installed and can be easily removed if required.
