The Porsche that set all your senses on edge: The 930 Turbo aka The widowmaker.

A true 'Supercar' that defined the 1970s and 1980s, the Porsche 930 Turbo was one of the fastest production cars available at the time. It was first shown at the Paris Motor Show in 1973 and full production started two years later.

The base engine was from the iconic Carrera 2.7RS, which was expanded to 3.0 litres and of course turbocharged with technology taken from Porsche's 917/30 Can-Am programme. The bodywork received a special treatment resulting in one of the most aggressive-looking Porsches ever made with its wide arches and impressive rear whale-tail, and the brakes came straight from the Porsche 917 race car. This icon was initially designed as a homologation version of the turbo engine for racing, Porsche initially aimed for a production run of just 500 units but the success of the model soon led to the decision not to limit production, however.

Our original European 3.3-litre Porsche 930 Turbo rolled off the assembly line in 1986 and is everything you look for in a 911. Sporty, stylish, elegant, and of course very fast.

The 3.3 litre version provides just that little bit more comfort while driving than the preceding 3.0 version and to this day is still fully matching in stunning condition. She looks great with her exceptional colour combination: the Prussian blue metallic body colour, which was completely repainted a few years ago, and the matching full leather blue interior. The wide shoulders and contour accentuate the wheels and create that wonderfully aggressive yet stylish look.

The car runs and drives exceptionally well. The perfectly tuned engine starts easily and the clutch lets the factory 4-speed gearbox do its job just fine, making both upshifts and downshifts easy and extremely smooth, making this car easily manageable for any driver.

After an extensive test drive in this car, one thing will certainly not have escaped your notice and brought out the "wow" feeling in you, that amazing boost at +- 4500 rpm when the turbo kicks in. Such on/off sharpness would be quasi unacceptable today, but it is also what makes this iconic Porsche special and what it is known for.

The title of "everyday supercar" didn't get the 930 for nothing. In addition to its unseen performance on the road, the interior was luxuriously and stylishly finished and the design not only looked tremendously tough but was also extremely well-liked. Inside, you will still find the original blue full-leather interior that looks exceptionally good considering its age, and the original and electric sunroof allows you to instantly create the convertible feeling in the luxury of a coupé during the hot summer months.
