190SL

The attractive 2-door roadster that delivered the iconic style of the 300SL in a more affordable package. It shared not only the elegance with its big brother but also some of its mechanical novelties. The SL190 was a great success that combined the sporty SL name with refined elegance and class. The car excelled as a luxurious "grand tourer.
Its fully independent suspension, double wishbones at the front and pendulum axles at the rear gave the SL its well-known comfort while the 1.9 liter 4 in line engine provided the car with a smooth driving experience.
The looks stood the test of time and the car remained in production for 8 years before being succeeded in 63 by the equally legendary "pagoda.
