V12 Speedster Maverick Edition

Finished in the exceptionally rare and instantly recognisable Top Gun Maverick specification, it represents one of the most desirable versions ever produced. With only 542 km since new, offered directly from its first owner, this V12 Speedster presents in unmistakably factory-new condition. Everything about it feels untouched and fresh out of the factory, from the surfaces and materials to the way the car looks, feels and drives. The Maverick Edition is effectively a sub-series within a sub-series. While all V12 Speedsters are rare, only a handful were specified as Maverick Editions, placing them at the very top of the hierarchy. Defined by a series of bespoke Q by Aston Martin details, this version stands clearly apart from a standard V12 Speedster. The car is finished in Skyfall Silver, a colour that perfectly complements the aviation-inspired concept. The exterior features Maverick name script, fighter jet-style nose art and small jet silhouettes, all subtly integrated into the design. Importantly, these are not decals or stickers, but factory-painted or factory-applied markings, executed as part of the original build.

Developed by Q by Aston Martin, the brand’s most exclusive skunkworks, the V12 Speedster takes its inspiration from classic barchetta racers and blends it seamlessly with modern aerospace thinking. There is no roof. There is no windscreen. You sit low, separated from your passenger by a dramatic central spine, surrounded by carbon fibre. Strap in, and you immediately understand why this car is so often compared to a fighter jet that just happens to drive on tarmac.

Under the long, sculpted bonnet lives Aston Martin’s 5.2 litre twin-turbo V12, producing 700 hp. Crucially, this makes the V12 Speedster the only twin-turbo V12 in the modern barchetta segment. The Aston delivers immense torque and relentless thrust, giving it a uniquely muscular and dramatic character. With nothing filtering the experience, every throttle input feels immediate and every acceleration run dramatic.

The specification is completed by the optional wind deflector, a desirable feature that takes the edge off the airflow at speed. Included with the car are the original Maverick helmets that feature custom-painted fighter jet graphics, aviation-style striping and Maverick-specific insignia, directly inspired by Captain Maverick’s helmet from the films. They are designed to fit perfectly within the rear helmet storage humps, themselves a unique and functional design feature of the V12 Speedster.
