Ten years of doing what we love and loving what we do. Ten years of pushing boundaries, expanding knowledge and improving craftmanship. Ten years of doing this our own way: the Rock N Roll-way! Plenty of reasons to finally throw ourselves a party! And of course: it wouldn’t be a party if it didn’t include you; our beloved customers, believers, family and friends.
We decided to go all the way and throw a three day RNR-event, ensuring that everybody that wanted to come could find a suiting moment. And boy, did you all come!
On Friday, our showroom was turned into an eighties-style discothèque, mixing good food with great music, super drinks and the best atmosphere into one big cocktail of fun. Big shoutout to Barbara and team of Casa-Nova, who have done an incredible job in styling our showroom into the trendy location it was on Friday! As the Romans already knew: no happy party without great food! Luckily OFYR have brought their best chef’s and most extravagant outdoor cooking collection to Varsenare to prepare some amazing dishes. The party went on until late at night, making for some droopy eyes saturdaymorning…
On Saturday we threw our doors wide open for our open door day, only the second one in the history of RNR!
The weather was on our side so a lot of people made the trip to come and see who we are, what we do and what we stand for.
At one moment it created a traffic jam that totally clogged the Gistelsteenweg up but after about half an hour the road was freed again.
Pasta and burgers from Burger Truck and a large race track with pedal cars for the little ones, presented by Qarts.
Great people, great day!
Sunday morning was reserved for the car owners themselves: the first RNR Cars & Coffee!
Where we initially aimed for around 40-50 cars, the final count showed that no fewer than 312 (!) cars had registered to come by and have a cup of coffee! Fortunately, our friendly neighbours Luc and Annie were kind enough to let us use their adjacent meadow, so we could give all the cars the space they deserved.
From a 1912 Chevrolet to the latest Maserati Hypercar and everything in between, all kinds of special and beloved cars were present. Even our cycling friends from the Bdongs and D'oude Garde came by!
Although the event was scheduled to end at 1 p.m., the doors didn't close until around 6 p.m. What a weekend! Thank you!
